Welcoming Lord Porter of Spalding to open our ‘LightSpeed Lounge’ & base at Fulney Hall

We were delighted to host Lord Porter of Spalding, local councillors and business representatives from across South Lincolnshire recently at Fulney Hall to experience gigabit speed broadband in the ‘LightSpeed Lounge’ and to share the progress of our network build.

The Lounge has been created for customers to try out the latest tech devices and experience ‘Life at LightSpeed’ for themselves. Appointments can be booked every Wednesday from 10am to 12pm by calling our contact centre on 01775 830830.

Commenting on his visit Lord Porter of Spalding said: “It was a pleasure to be invited to Fulney Hall and to see how LightSpeed has sensitively restored the Grade II listed building which is treasured by many. It’s great to see the difference LightSpeed’s investment in our towns will make to the local economy - creating local jobs, including apprenticeships for our young people, and new opportunities for residents and businesses.”

Joanne King, our Chief Customer Officer added: “It was a pleasure to demonstrate our gigabit broadband speeds in our ‘LightSpeed Lounge’ to Lord Porter of Spalding, South Lincolnshire councillors and business representatives. Thousands of residents in Spalding can now connect to our 1 gigabit full fibre broadband, with thousands more being added to the network every week.”

If you would like to experience ‘life at LightSpeed’ for yourself, remember to book an appointment to try out our LightSpeed Lounge!
