We’re LightSpeed

A team of broadband experts, here to bring gigabit fast broadband to your street. We’re not new to this, we’ve been around broadband for a long time – our team brings over 150 years of combined experience from some of the big telcos to LightSpeed.

We’ve been busy bringing gigabit fast full fibre broadband to thousands of UK homes since 2021. Our mission is to connect people. Our broadband is fast, fun and stress-free and our customers really are at the heart of every decision we make.​

We’re committed to change. From the big ISPs to the smaller alt nets - the market is flooded with complex plans, mid contract price hikes and offshore contact centres. We were born to do things differently - we provide simple broadband plans, without the jargon. We’re fair, easily contactable and we do what we say we’ll do. That’s what motivates us.​

We’re a young company with plenty of funding and an experienced team. We’ve celebrated many successes so far, but we’re only just getting started.

More about our investors

We’re backed by an international investment consortium (including equity from Kompass Kapital and Thesaurium and debt funding from Sequoia Economic Infrastructure Income Fund) that focuses on infrastructure projects and is managed by highly experienced teams. We have a clear strategy and the ability to deliver at pace, to become a leading provider in the markets we serve. Our roll-out started in April 2021 and continues today as we leverage our partners and team members to drive excellence in fibre deployment and ISP service delivery.
