Hello, Clacton-on-Sea! We’re bringing our full fibre broadband to your town.

We’re building our 1 gigabit full fibre broadband in Clacton-on-Sea (including Holland-on-Sea) and residents will be able to connect later this Spring.

We marked the ‘light speed’ roll-out of our network by meeting Deputy Cabinet Member and Essex County Councillor Mark Platt, and Tendring District Councillor Mick Skeels, at one of our build locations in Clacton-on-Sea recently. Our team were delighted to demonstrate how we’re rolling out our broadband network sustainably and efficiently across the town and the region.

Councillor Mark Platt, said: “It was a pleasure […] to hear about the progress of the company’s full fibre broadband roll-out to multiple towns across Essex helping to level up our region. This is a fantastic opportunity for the local area, and I am delighted that residents and businesses will be able to benefit from LightSpeed’s full fibre connectivity later this year.”

Councillor Mick Skeels, added: “It was good to see LightSpeed’s full fibre broadband build in Clacton recently as it progresses across the town. The company’s investment supports the economic development of Clacton and is an important step in bringing new opportunities to the area.”

We’re also building in nine other Essex towns including Braintree, Frinton-on-Sea, Halstead, Harwich, Maldon, Manningtree, Witham, Wivenhoe and Woodham Ferrers. To see if we’re coming to you, enter your postcode into our availability checker here.
