Our main logistics centre opens in Stamford

As we progress our full fibre 1 gigabit broadband roll out across the East of England, we’re delighted to open our main logistics centre in Stamford which is our key infrastructure hub, supported by three additional sites in King’s Lynn, Boston and Witham.

Joe Hart, our newly appointed Logistics & Procurement Manager, will be based at our Stamford facility which was chosen for its location at the heart of our build area and next to the A1. Investing in these state-of-the-art facilities means we can maintain the quality and speed of our build even with a global shortage of supplies.

Joining us with over 12 years’ experience in Logistics for the Royal Air Force where he assisted in moving personnel and equipment all over the world, Joe plays a vital role in accomplishing our mission to reach 1 million homes by 2025.

Commenting on his new role, Joe said: “I am delighted to be a part of LightSpeed’s journey and to be able to bring the experience I gained in the RAF. As we expand our footprint across the East of England, these facilities are strategically placed so we can provide the best level of service to our customers.”
