Supporting Spalding Hockey Club with new dug outs!
We are thrilled to support Spalding Hockey Club recently by donating two new ‘dug-outs’ for players, officials, and supporters to sit and take shelter on training and match days.
The Spalding Hockey Club is now the largest in Lincolnshire and serves as an important hub for the local community. It welcomes people from all walks of life, fielding seven adult men’s and women’s teams each week in competitive leagues and a successful junior section which welcomes all players from aged four on a Saturday morning. New players are also welcome to join when the season starts in September.
Elaine Allen, Head of Sponsorship for Spalding Hockey Club commented: “It is great to have LightSpeed Broadband on board and supporting the club. They understand the importance of sport in the community and the difference it can make. Our Club is run by a team of volunteers, who put in an incredible amount of time and effort into its smooth running and support like this is a benefit to us all. We are all delighted to finally have dugouts, which will make a huge difference to the club especially on match days. I would also like to thank the SPARC committee, who own and run the Glen Park for their support in this project.”
Jake Allen, our Sales Manager said: “It has been a pleasure to visit Spalding Hockey Club today, to meet some of the players and to really see what an asset the Club is to the local area. As we build our full fibre broadband network in towns across the East of England, we’re keen to work together and get involved with the local communities to make a real difference to residents. We look forward to meeting more of the teams, their families, and the wider community at the Club’s upcoming fixtures.”
