What we need you to do

LightSpeed Broadband are looking for a strong and determined PMO Manager is responsible for coordinating the technology delivery portfolio for LightSpeed Broadband across ISP, Networks, Central Services and Technology functions. The PMO Manager defines the tech portfolio and delivery management standards, processes, and templates, maintains a rolled-up view across all the tech deliveries, including status, budgets, key risks, issues and mitigations.

· Crafting the PMO's strategic framework and processes

· Implementing project standards across the organisation to ensure consistency and quality

· Developing and managing a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives

· Providing governance and oversight for all project activities

· Facilitating communication across project teams to promote transparency and collaboration

· Managing resources, timelines, and budgets to achieve project goals

· Delivering regular reports to senior management on project status, risks, and outcomes

· Establishes and maintains the delivery management and governance framework, methodology, tools, and processes for all entities across the LightSpeed Portfolio

· Mentors Project Managers and Project Coordinators and provide guidance for them to adopt and adhere to the framework.

· Ensures portfolio plans and status reports are completed by Project Managers/Project Coordinators on time and of appropriate content.

· Ensuresall costs are being forecasted and actuals being captured and tracked against the business forecasted model in-line with budgets

· Creates and maintains a rolled-up view across all entities, including plans, status, budgets, key risks, issues, and mitigations for review with leadership team and stakeholders.

· Ensures the quality and compliance of the project deliverables and artifacts and conduct quality audits and reviews.

· Identifies and implements best practices, lessons learned, and continuous improvement opportunities for the tech delivery management processes.

· Sets up and maintains the delivery 'Teams' folders, CR master tracker, assigns CRs, gets the Kan Ban board updated.

· Captures resource utilisation, identifies resource under and over utilisation.

· Ensures timesheets are being completed by the delivery team, translating them to actual costs for tech delivery.

  • Experience:

    · At least 5 years’ experience in an infrastructure sector e.g. construction, telecoms, and engineering

    · Strong experience of commercial, contract, build and project management;

    · Experience and sound understanding of:

    · Design, engineering assurance and construction;

    · Cost and commercial management;

    · Risk management;

    · Information management.

    · Demonstrable experience successfully managing significant projects/programmes;

    · Track record of managing projects through the full project lifecycle;

    · Experience of working to tight deadlines and meeting funding and operational targets;

    · Experience of dealing with projects that impact on the general public and other stakeholders;

    · Experience of compiling clear and concise technical and non-technical reports;

    · Strong evidence of people management skills;

    · Skilled in using industry standard project management tools and technology.

    · You will have experience managing supply partners, board approved budgets, construction, and fibre networks.

    · Proven experience in PMO leadership, with a track record of setting up and managing PMOs

    · Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams

    · Excellent organisational and communication skills

    · Proficiency in project management software and methodologies

    · A strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities

    · Strong leadership skills and ability to set good example to others

    · Excellent communication skills and ability to engage/communicate to senior management, clients and stakeholders

    · 3 Years as a PMO Manager in an Agile environment

    · AMP/PMP/Prince 2 Desireable
