With the increasing reliance on technology, the need to stay protected whilst browsing the web has never been more vital.  1. Keep your software up to date. Regular updates help to ensure that you have the latest security patches and fixes, making your device more secure against possible online threats. 

2. Avoid repeating the same password for multiple accounts. Choose strong, unique passwords that include a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols. When possible, use two-factor authentication/multi-factor authentication. 

3. Be cautious about clicking on suspicious emails or links as these may contain malware or phishing scams. 

4. Install a reputable antivirus software to help provide an extra barrier of protection for your device and detect and eliminate potential threats. 

5. Be careful about the information you choose to share online. Avoid sharing sensitive personal information, including banking information and passwords.
